The AlkaPurity™ H-D System contains a full 6-stage RO heavy-duty water purifying engine using upgraded 3/8"-sized delivery lines.
AlkaPurity™ H-D Unit Dimensions
- Main Unit: 18" Tall, 15" Wide, 7" Deep.
- 4.4 Gallon Tank: Diameter is 11"; Height is 14"
- The installed faucet is approximately 12" tall.
- Faucet requires 1/2" hole at sink base or in countertop. This is the same size as a standard accessory hole (such as one for a soap dispenser).
The faucet is available in Polished Chrome (shiny), Brushed Nickel (satiny), Oil-Rubbed Bronze or Special Order.
Most customers order the 4.4 Gallon Tank, as it easily fits under counter, even with existing disposal and dishwasher connections.
If space is a consideration, the storage tank may be installed lying down on its side, or if preferred. a 2.2 Gallon Tank is available in place of the 4.4 Gallon tank:
The capacity of each tank is approximately half of what it is rated because the rest of the space in the tank is occupied by a pressurized membrane.
All tanks are manufactured of NSF-approved steel.
The air pressure for the tank is set at the factory and should not need to be adjusted or filled in the field.
If you plan to place the tank in the basement beneath the AlkaPurity system, we strongly encourage you to upgrade to a 9-Gallon Tank to ensure satisfaction.
NOTE: Required Maintenance
The AlkaPurity™ H-D model is a tightly engineered, constant-pressure water purification and energy alteration system. The system's filter cartridges must be replaced every 700 to 1,000 gallons or 12 months (residential use) to ensure peak, trouble-free performance. A bi-annual (every 20-24 months) membrane replacement and a sanitizing routine are also essential to the system's proper operation. Failure by the customer to provide for proper maintenance procedures will void the product warranty.
